On Thursday Mrs Redding and Mrs Theuerkauf took Brandon, Kaleasha and I to a GRIP leadership day in Toowoomba. The day focused on leadership and what it means to be a leader. We listened to different people talk about their experiences in leadership and fundraisers they did at their schools that were successful. There were activities where we had to separate and meet new people; other leaders. We learnt the GRIP hand for success - GROWTH, RELATIONSHIP, INTEGRITY and PEOPLE - and how these assist with and help you to become a better leader. There were sessions that you were able to choose from, Kaleasha and I chose how to give a good motivational speech and how to develop others. We learnt a lot from what the speakers were talking about and it was an enjoyable day.
