Given the amount I have for you to read in the newsletter, I will keep my YES message short. As I’ve already noted, reportcards should be arrive home this Friday (20/6/14). As much as they maybe a worry for children, they should not be. They are just a snapshot of the on-going learning journey of the
children. If a child gets “As” on their reports, this is great. But if a child gets “Ds”, that is not the end of the world, it just informs them and their parents about where they are on their journey and what they need to work on.
What can you do to help at home? Remind yourself and your children that their reports are only one part of their development. Celebrate their successes and talk about what they can improve on. Remember our YES message, they can do it and if they keep trying, every child shall improve.
