As you will be aware we had our discipline audit yesterday (27/10/14), which is one of the activities listed on our AIP for the year. Firstly thank-you to all the parents, children and staff who were very open when they talked to the auditor about our school. He said that he loved talking to everybody here and thinks we have a lovely school. There were a number of recommendations he has for us, which he needs to finalise and send to me in the next couple of weeks and I will elaborate on them after that. I can tell you we did very well. After he debriefed the staff yesterday afternoon, I was pleased to highlight for the staff that we rated high, with some medium areas, and given that our first curriculum audit we got lows and one medium, that is a fantastic improvement for our school. Thank-you to all who made that possible, but remember we still have areas to improve on.
What can you do to help at home?
Congratulate your children in helping make our school the lovely school that it is. Continue to support the staff in supporting your children’s behaviour. Remember the reason for that is one of our priority areas in the AIP, Better Behaviour Better Learning.
