As I indicated last week, we have done the Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) a little differently this for parents. It should have come home in today’s newsletter and it is a combined AIP and school calendar. You will notice that the photos we have used are a selection from throughout 2013 for you to reminisce about events from last year. The first two pages has our 2014 AIP with the targets and strategies to achieve those targets listed. Following the AIP is the calendar, starting at March and going through to February next year. The reason for starting the calendar from March I that this is when the AIP will be approved by my supervisor and with it going into the start on 2015 you can plan ahead for the next year. Each month there will be information and tips for parts around priority areas of the AIP and how you can help at home. We have attempted to put in as much information as we could into the calendar, but some may need to be confirmed (e.g. P&C meetings have been listed for most months, but the new P&C will need to decide when they need to meet)
What can you do to help at home? Simply, enjoy following us throughout 2014. If you have suggestions for topics to go into the 2015 calendar, let me know. Some listed for this year will not be valid next year (e.g. with Yr 10 leaving us, we will not be offering work experience next year), so we will need new items for those months.
