I’ve talked about this before, but given parents’ participation in today’s Under 8s Day and that I have just talked about the first two ABC – Conditions of Learning, I will finish of with the final one, Confidence. The level of engagement in a school is an indicator of student, parent, staff and greater community confidence of a school. Besides the data that we see in the School Opinion Surveys, I feel that there is great confidence in our school as there is great involvement by everyone not only in classrooms, but also our other special events like today’s Under 8s day. When children see the confidence their parents have in the school by their participation with the school, then they are more confident about their school and in turn their learning.

What can you do to help at home? Confidence goes a long way in your children engagement in their learning, so keep supporting our special events. Keep being involved in the classrooms where you can. Keep your children interested in the learning.
