The Year 5/6 Class has a varied curriculum with many interesting and interactive learning opportunities.
Students undertake studies in English and Mathematics with four targeted literacy blocks across the week. As well as this, students are fortunate to have specialist teachers for Science,The Arts, Physical Education and AUSLAN.
With every learning opportunity, the Australian Curriculum is referenced ensuring your child is learning the same content as any child in Australia.
The You Can Do It program (as part of the school's YES message) will be implemented every fortnight focusing on the five social skills of resilience, getting along, persistence, organisation and confidence.
This year, the Year 5/6 Class has Mrs Skerman and Miss Budde across the week. Parents are always welcome in the 5/6 room, whether just popping in to say hello or helping out in a session! We look forward to seeing you!
