The Aurecon Bridge Building Competition is held across Australia and New Zealand in early August each year. The competition is organised by Aurecon, an international engineering company that specialise in bridges. In 2014, Cecil Plains Secondary was one of about 40 schools in the South East Queensland District. Our school has a proud history competing in this competition. Our students were competitors in 2012 where we placed 2nd, 2013 where we placed 1st and this year 2014, where we again came 2nd.
